... also had a small arena with mutton busting for the kids going on. They had chuck wagon food available as well.

Heading on our way, planning to stop the night in Edmond, eight miles west of Chandler is the town of Warwick which is slowly fading like so many towns along the route. ... It turns out the number one industry in Dodge City is actually meat packing, with 2 major meat packers having large facilities there.

... the breeze picked up, it was nice.

The kids had a chance to hit the outdoor pool for an hour or so before we turned in. There are some storms rolling in tonight. I see lightening but not sure what is going to happen. They have flood warning through Wednesday but we haven't seen any rain. We are off to Little Rock tomorrow. We may take our time leaving OKC because it's a nice little town.
We will see what tomorrow brings.
