... den Sonnenschein, paddelten mit dem Gummiboot im riesigen Teich rum, fischten das erste Mal im Leben. Bis dieses verdammte Virus uns flachlegte. Mein Magen war so schwer, als ob er mit Steinen gefüllt wäre. Ich möcht keine Details über diese Episode schildern, aber wir lagen für zwei Tage flach, komplett ausser Gefecht. Sogar vier Tage später war unser Magen immer noch schwach.
Am letzten Tag in Sequim fuhren wir zum Regenwald und an den Strand vo La Push.

... much time trying to get there and back as we had intended to spend on hiking. Time-wise, it was a wash.
So, for the record: We did not hike Mount Zion in Sequim. However, we also did not get stranded or die there.
After all that, we drove to Dungeness Bay, looked at where they catch big fat juicy delicious crabs and then went onward to our beautiful B&B, where we were to get married the next day. After arriving, we decided it was perfect, even if it was slated to rain.

Visitor Center in Port Angeles for park information, maps, trail guides. Good movie about the various areas of the park. Interesting fact--24 plants and animals live in this national park and no where else on earth.

Not surprisingly, my fixation was travel. Problem: Hong Kong is about 8 hours ahead of us, and the flight is 14 hours long, so 8+14=22 hours travel time. If I leave at 2 pm that means I should get in at noon on Sunday (2pm +22 hours). So why am I arriving at 8 pm?

... 360 degree views of the surrounding Olympic mountains. Later, we drove out to Dungeness Wildlife Refuge. We didn't have time (or energy) with the tide coming in to walk out to the end of Dungeness Spit, but the views were fantastic.
We ended our visit in the Sequim area with a day in Port Townsend. Port Townsend is one of only three designated Historic Victorian Ports. We loved ...
