Our home base while in the beautiful town of Sequim WA will be GilGal Oasis RV park. It is a nice park with friendly staff BUT rather tight RV spaces. Pete's rig is within two inches of being against a fence--however--the sky is 'clear' for satellite and they even offer free DSL internet so it ...

... Manuel and Chuckie stayed in the truck and slept. We land in Sidney, B.C. and we take an easy drive to our pet friendly hotel, Ramada, Victoria. We arrived at noon, rooms won't be ready till 3pm. Darn, I am so tired and sleepy I just want to take a nap. There is a cute small restaurant next door so we go in and have breakfast. Breakfast was delicious, a little expensive but very good. To kill more time, we take Chuckie for walk. There is a really pretty swimming area a ...

... of sweets. We passed on the tearoom today but stopped for a while to enjoy the WIFI in the elegant lobby area. Actually, the entire downtown area of Victoria has free WIFI, but you can’t beat the comfort of the Empress hotel lobby. We retraced our steps along the harbor walkway and returned to the Sea Princess. As has always been our experience, we had another lovely visit to Victoria.

Once back on the ship we had some lunch and enjoyed ...
