Last night we were primed for a day of BBQ only to discover that the festival started at 6pm. This gave us an unexpected extra day and Nadia's extensive research led us to believe the only option was some more outlet shopping. The outlet was about 40 minutes drive away and with nothing much else planned we had a bit of a sleep in. ... Damien was given the largest glass of beer we have ever seen! We then drove to our hotel in Cary. The most exciting thing that happened there was that Nadia was able to do a load of washing. On to Montgomery, AL and then Tues. June 2nd we were in Aiken, SC where we visited our dear "old" friends Bob & Bonnie Nowak. Always so nice to spend time with them - sharing news of families & friends. Weather was a little threatening, so decided to forgo a day of golf, and we headed for home a day early!
