A travel blog entry by grantandbonnie on Jul 15, 2014

The stops for these last few nights was determined by the availability of Category 1 & 2 Hampton Inns. Tonight, Clarksvilke, AR, which is where we spent the first night of our trip. We had a relatively short drive today, only about 4 hours, but it was a straight shot down the interstate so it felt like a lot longer. After ...

Trip Summary 822 miles driven 16:24 in the car 5 miles on the trail 4 NPS sites visited 2 National Battlefields 1 Parkway 1 National ...

Today was my second time on sweep, this time alongside Alicia and this time for the second of our three centuries we will complete on this trip. The first 35 miles or so were a breeze. Alicia and I chatted, took numerous pee breaks, and just took our time getting to the first lunch. We caught up with Christine and her group, who happened to be on their second flat of the day. Once she finished that up, we all cruised into lunch as a group. It was then that ...
