It's a beautiful day today. We decided to go see all of the stuff at the Dam site.
Garrison Dam, the power plant, fish hatchery and the spillway. We roamed the valleys and hillsides and even walked a sandy beach (I really hate the texture of sand!)
The dogs (especially Dasher) never seem to tire of running in the tall grass.

First Morning On The Train

Waking up on the second day of our trip in the sleeping car was interesting. There was a bit of a, "Where am I?" feeling until being reminded by the rocking motion of the rail car and the sound of the wheels along the rails. There was also the voice on the speaker letting us know that breakfast was being served in the dining car. We got dressed and made our way to the dining car, which was only two cars away.
