    ... across the river... over the battle of the Bankers... as usual per war... and just north of this area is where the Ohio river converges with the old Miss.

    There is a small public park here ... though you might not know it.. as there is some kind of incredible influx of barge activity ... like a giant staging area of Massive Tonka Toys that float....

    A Mans world... of big boy toys........ I took my water jug up to where the river ...

    Downtown St Louis was under construction and the roads were a mess. Ditzy, our GPS, took us into the city and told us to get off on exit 250 - except exit 250 did not exist! So we turned left, then right and ended up on an old cobblestone road. One choice was to go right- but wait there is a railroad bridge with a 10' 3" clearing there. Can't go right.     ... to meet up with Karen and Big D. When we got there Karen had already bought us the entry to the tour of the brewery and and cards that allowed us to get free beer before the tour.
