... quite happy about the rain as they desperately needed it. Even the mountain top received a fresh coat of snow!

Redding is a city of about 85,000 people. Hunting, fishing and outdoor recreation are the main attractions here in Redding. We spent Monday afternoon checking out the city. Our drive on Saturday February 28th took us through Sacramento into the Sacramento Valley. It's pretty similar to the San Joaquin Valley we drove through on Friday. It's much greener so I presume they get more rain here!

I ended the day packing up all my things and then watching the movie Austenland with Chantelle, her housemates, and Donta. Rio doesn’t like chick flicks so it’s rare that I watch them at home, even though I thoroughly enjoy them. It was nice being able to achieve 100% consensus when choosing a movie.
