Finally we cross the state line and enter California. We stop off to visit Lake Tahoe. Its ever so nice. Pristine emerald and blue water surrounded by pine trees. What a beautiful place.
These mountain roads are something else, with scenery that is just breathtaking. We dont get into Redding till after 7pm, and find this really nice RV park off the highway and out of town. Doesnt take long to set up the tent, while Gerry is already set up with her camper van.

After leaving the redwoods we continued to head towards our next night stop in Redding. We ...

This is a grand 26 room mansion that was completed ...

Chantelle will be living with me and Rio this summer so at least that will make up for some lost time. However, both of them may return to Redding in September to do third year.

I was a little nervous about flying alone for the first time but found ...

... did not answer his phone, I need to find a way to tell him what we need done over the next six weeks. A quick drawing with comments left in the Hutchins house, problem solved. ATM for cash, Supercuts for hair cuts, Omlet House for breakfast and we are off. I sure am glad that today is a short drive, we were only a couple of hours behind schedule when we left Lodi. I am 0-1 on museum stops. I wanted to visit the Ag & Tractor Museum in Woodland but it was ...
