Checking the maps it wasn't out of my way to look for the arena in Jacksonville, so I put that into the GPS and headed that way. These stadia are enormous, it was around the same size as the Ford Field in Detroit and looked a little newer:

Moved into town (Norman) to be closer to things. Stayed 2 nights at the Cleveland County Fairgrounds. Nice, spacious, clean space. Full hookups $20/night. All self serve. Found an awesome grocery store: Sprouts. They are a regional chain. They had grass fed, organic meats, organic dairy, etc. etc. ....nice find!
... east......flat as tin-earned trumpeter. Terrain changes every 30 seconds, seemed like. It's all interesting. We stayed last night at Quartz Mountain State Park, on this huge lake that's going dry since they haven't had any rain for quite awhile. Amazing park, lots of deer walking unafraid around our camper. It's not like we haven't seen deer, but these seem a lot smaller, and there was some really small, young ...
... upon so you order your beef burger you get with cheese and extra grease then do you want fries with that and they come with grease so we decided pizza for a change and guess what it comes with grease its crazy people are really heavy over here and don't seem to care at all the city of Chicago was different but as we head west no 1 seem to worry. Off to Dallas tomorrow can't wait to see oil at south fork and JR etc. Oh we seen and oil rig being drilled today ...
... Hugh got sarsaparilla, me-lilikoi, Rylynn-peaches & cream, Finn-orange cream soda. We also bought corn on the cob to try later and buffalo wings for Michael. We all liked the sarsaparilla & orange cream soda best.
We got back well after dark. I was a little worried that I left the ac on. But upon arrival, was grateful that I did. The cicadas are very loud and the heat was miserable. Without ac, I don't think this trip would be as ...
