... for John and a Maryland crab bracelet for me. We enjoyed visiting with them for awhile and then made our way back home.

We're near a lot of walkable stores or so everyone says. Our GPS said to take a left off of the lot to access everything so without looking up or down the road (a mistake, we'd find out later), we turned left and started walking. We were so engrossed in conversation, we didn't even realize that we hadn't passed anything ...

    Drive to Maryland, Amish

A travel blog entry by sandrobbins on Oct 26, 2013

... Saw a big Amish auction every one wearing big black brimmed hats and black suits including the little boys. We stopped at a fruit stand that was operated by Amish girls all wearing long dresses and bonnets. We bought fresh beans, tomatoes, garlic, bread, honey buns, sauerkraut in a jar and peaches in a jar. Delicious. The girls added up our purchases on a notebook with a pen. ...
