... these roads again took us through rolling countryside populated by ranches and farms. At the town of “Lyndon” we turned north on US 75 to the “Crossroads RV Park” where we will be spending the night. ... from noon until 1:00p so we would have to wait. We drove in to town stopped at a park for a picnic in the car, it was cold out, and a couple of laps around the perimeter with Gordon. The repairs took a bit longer than expected but everyone there was incredibly nice, if you ever need some work done on an RV or trailer and are in that area, I highly recommend Olathe.

one-hundred fifty moose in this valley and over ten times as many
elk! For the convenience of we pretenders, most parks have scenic drives that allow for wildlife
photos, like these, to be taken from the safety of the road or, better yet, from the
comfort of the car!

We have visited so many wonderful parks
this year that picking the “best” is tough for me, ...
