... an ethereal quality. I would take a moment here to mention that I am not much of a sociable person but the van attracts a lot of attention and I find myself chatting with people from all over the country and the world. We walked around the rotunda & learned a bit about Washington history (I also drilled Cara a bit for it, as she teaches it to 3rd & 4th graders.) They showed me the elementary school where Cara works and we also drove through the shopping areas of Olympia. We tried stopping at the permanent & ...

... to spend the night. We ended up in Spanaway, a small town east of Tacoma. We bought some ready to eat food and had a late supper.
