... Finally crossed into Pennsylvania. We stopped for lunch in Williamsport. It took another 3 hours to get to Gettysburg. First stop at Gettysburg National Lark to look through the info centre. The way out of DC was a nightmare due to road blocks and heavy storms. Late in the evening we finally arrived in our B & B in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The reward for the tiring ride was a very warm welcome by the friendly host family and a spacious, lovely room.
