... if we would have stopped he would have stopped too. As soon as we got out of New Jersey and into Pennsylvania we noticed the change. More open spaces, more farmland and less traffic. We stayed away from Philadelphia and instead went to French Creek Sate Park a nice quiet inexpensive campground. We picked a site away from all the other campers and pretty much crawled into bed by 9pm. It was ...

We also passed the time by checking gas prices to see if the
prices were any better in NJ or PA. We found a little pocket right on the
NJ side of the state line that had diesel for $3.26! Time to top off even

He is also the only one to have defeated a sitting president, Franklin Pierce, to receive his party’s nomination and go on to become president.

... arrive to friendly faces, a comfy bed and Christmas fast approaching.

While we are in PA for the next few days to enjoy visiting family and the holiday, the Bavarian trip has come to an end. We saw some truly amazing scenery, had great experiences and had a wonderful time. It was a perfect way to usher in the Christmas holiday.

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday as well and I look forward to new adventures in 2014!
