... need to eat up some miles, but the views were still good.

We decided to visit Pittsburgh for a late lunch, and were persuaded by an enthusiastic waitress to try a Greek Restaurant. The food had mixed, if not widely-divergent, reviews. The route to the restrooms led right through the kitchen, and Mandy wished she had eaten first like the rest of us. Ah well, you can't win them all.

We pressed on, and having travelled from West Virginia, ...

It had been said that of all of the venues we were to have on this tour, this one would be the worst. Not because of crowds, but because of the load-in/load out. I truly believe that what they said was wrong. I admit that there was a minimal dock, allowing for only two trucks to back in and unload, (Holmdel NJ, only had one, and Jones Beach didn't have any.) none the ...

Then I headed to an amazing-looking doughnut shop that unfortunately failed ...

... a city park in Stow, Ohio just southeast a couple miles from Cuyahoga National Park (yes, I said National Park).

We found Silver Lake Campground on our "AllStays" iPhone app, several miles off the interstate. It only cost $12/night with electricity. Winding through the back roads amongst commuters heading home from work we pull into the narrow road of the park which opens up to an expansive campground, just lovely. The evening sun ...

... soon. It's something to check off the bucket list for sure, but I don't think I would do a repeat... So left left Illinois crossed thru Indiana and our now just west of Cleveland. Tomorrow's 380 miles will seem like a 1,000 miles as we know we are coming home and it is the last day. It will be good to get home and sleep in our own bed tomorrow. If I have to say anything I will say I will NOT miss having to pack and re-pack each night from hotel to ...
