... minute deal at the Sheraton right next to the Pentagon, a four star hotel and because it was a late deal it only cost 5 more than Bragg Towers. We sat in the bar using the free wifi and set about planning tomorrow's tour around Washington DC.

We were up nice and early and set out towards the Capitol Buildings where we had a tour booked for9.30am. It's a government run visit and it's completely free of charge. We took the metro system from the ...

Waking early, I went for a walk. The mist was rising off the river, and I met a man born, bred and buttered in this county. As we chatted, he kept correcting my English pronunciation!

Speaking of breathing, I attended a two-hour session of Classic Yoga and Meditation this evening at The Yoga Room. The instructor, Maureen, was lovely-- she created this congenial, relaxed environment that came as a culture shock... she and students in the class were even asking me about my cross-country trip. It's funny to be away from DC and realize that yoga doesn't have to be a competition ;)

... a city park in Stow, Ohio just southeast a couple miles from Cuyahoga National Park (yes, I said National Park).

We found Silver Lake Campground on our "AllStays" iPhone app, several miles off the interstate. It only cost $12/night with electricity. Winding through the back roads amongst commuters heading home from work we pull into the narrow road of the park which opens up to an expansive campground, just lovely. The evening sun ...
