... down and replaced it with a metal frame. Then we went to Carpenters Hall, where the first continental congress met. From there we walked past some lovely gardens and down to the Philadelphia Exchange which is a lovely old colonial building with a very nice curved rear where merchants gathered to sell their wares. We then went to Christ Church where congress worshipped as a group. Next stop was Elfreths Alley, the oldest residential street in America, then onto Betsy Ross's house ...

... by a co-worker (Shawna) called Famous 4th Street Cookie Co. Well worth it as the cookies melted in your mouth.

Next we headed to Betsy Ross House upon the request of Aria who wanted to see the first seamstress of the U.S. Flag - by the way, we learned on the Ride The Duck tour that Betsy did not design the flag, she simply stitched it based on a design presented to her (just quick history factoid for ya’.)

... always, we are happy to be home and to eventually see ya'll and show you the greats pics of our journey. No we didn't see the southern cross David and we aren't going back but loved, loved Patagonia and the surrounds Mendoza, wine, and enjoyed our excursions outside of the city center, Tigre and La Boca as we usually do.
