... These people were some of the friendliest people we've met--really, the whole culture of the school was incredibly friendly and laid back. I suppose you have to be when working with the mentally handicapped. It's a very selfless profession. And with selflessness comes an overall enjoyment of life that is harder to find in some of the hectic, business-oriented schools we've seen. How much has to be taken away for us to realize what really makes us happy in life?

Working in Philly

... bad I won't get another chance to eat here before I leave because its worth going to twice in a week! I ordered the chicken & wild mushroom crepes....delish! If you lvoe crepes, then you have to hit this place up. I warn you though....its much fancier (and pricier) than the average creperies in the US.

... out and getting ready for our trip to NZ, stocking up on clothes and bits and pieces. We headed down for our first experience of the New Jersey shore as we were lucky enough to go and stay with Siobhans' parents in their amazing place right on the seafront. A good night was had by all, Rein in particular who was doing his best McLovin impression with his fake ID. The next day we headed back to Philly to catch the ...

If I'm not mistaken, I spent 92 nights in Argentina, 23 nights in Peru, 21 nights in Bolivia, 15 nights in Brazil, 10 nights in Chile, and 9 nights in Uruguay (and of course 2 nights flying in between North and South America). I'm attaching here some pictures from my last week in South America. I'm also going to soon put up ...

That commercial almost made me want to join the military. The other one is the American Express print advertisement that I see in magazines which involves celebrities writing down their wildest dream, biggest challenge, and proudest moment, among other things ...

Back in the US

Well, I made it back to the States, safe and sound. It was a long journey to get back, about 25 hours door to door -- mainly due to to (1) needing to leave for the airport at 1:15am even though my flight was not until 6am because my bridge connecting me to the main part of town opens up for 3 hours every night such that you can't cross (one of the reasons you stay out so late in St. Pete...) and (2) a 6.5 hour layover in Frankfurt. But anyway, hope ...

Start of our Adventure!

... in Camden Yards. Those *******s already have tickets so I have to get one, hopefully. Which brings me to me. I am Bryan Patrick Couchon, 5' 7" 145 lbs of pure beefcake. Turn-ons include an empty bar stool, making fun of Greggy Love, ChemCad, & acting stupid. Turn-offs include answering Greggy's questions, a plastic cup instead of a glass, getting my ass beaten, & foods that start with the letter "Z". I have lots of road trip experience. Along with the ...
