Long Beach, L.A. today. Hopefully nobody gets hurt. Since Abdo already opened his birthday present even thought Raina warned him not to open the package but he got drunk and forgot, his loss, less to open on his birthday!!

From the Mountain to the Sea

... warm themselves up under the sun was, for lack of a better word, nice.

I turn around and admire the view, the neighbourhood that's just above the pier, as I head over to the pier. The Santa Monica Pier is exactly as it should be (minus the reconstruction/replacement of parts of it). I walk along the pier, weaving my way through the crowds to Isabella's at the end of the pier. I get seated on the patio facing the carnival that's on the pier, which again ...
