... toys magzines etc. They had a room where the movie was playing. It was ok- Andrew wasn't interested, even though he likes the movie. We stayed there a little bit, then went to see the Schonhoff Dutch mill. This is a windmill that was built in 1879 and is still used to grind wheat into flour. From there we headed out of town- on the way now to Colorado. Sometimes we have miscommunication on our directions so we can get going the wrong way. I suppose we need ...

LIMON, Costa Rica whomshallisend... boys to Nicaragua one time and left them there. Yorleny had to go get them. Since she couldn't afford passports for them, she had to take them out of the country illegally. Now she cannot return to Nicaragua or she will be put in jail. When we met her, she was begging for work to earn a plate of food for her children. She rarely eats at home so the food will last longer for her children. We invite them to eat at our house occasionally and then she will eat. The boys are 13 and ...
LIMON, Costa Rica whomshallisend... but I'm getting the hang of driving like the locals. At the present we are stateside for Christmas. We return to Costa Rica Jan 21st. Several projects will hopefully be finished by the time we get back. The big one is getting the security wall finished around the school. (If anyone is interested in donating money for it's construction, a panel costs about $20.) We have been having several breakins and thefts. The storage room, where I kept my tools, was hit in ...
LIMON, Costa Rica whomshallisend... the skies opened traffic was zipping along at 20mph for quite a while (hurtle 1). Got to the car place only one there, attendant waiting (hurtle 2.) Got to the shuttle bus stop as it rolled up. (Hurtle 3). Only passenger on the bus so no extra stops (hurtle 4). Had a nice chat with the driver who said a prayer for me to make the flight. Hit security no line and with all the unusual stuff in my carry on bags the only thing that got questioned was an electric paint spray ...

Denver, Colorado, United States hiraeth3... replaced, or converted into rags or towels as need be, two button up short sleeve shirts with pockets, two long sleeve shirts, four pair of underwear, four pair of socks, a very versatile sarong, a pair of scrub bottoms for sleeping, one lightweight fleece, one mid weight fleece, one pair of khakis for stylish Western Europe, and a pair of swimming trunks. All of the clothing could fit into one compression sack and smashed down to the size (and almost density) of a ...
Denver, United States longwalktour... that will get fans out to see the worst team in baseball!!! The night we went out, the rockies were riding a 5 game winning streak, that was until the white sox handed them butts on a platter after a serious trouncing. One cool thing about the altitude, is that the balls go further... so there was no shortage of home runs. unfortunately there wasn't enough time to get out to the rocky mountains, but that'll have to wait until next time...
