    ... things needed. I did sewing surgery on the poor motorbike cover, did some laundry and did some knitting, while visiting with my Mom. It was hard to say goodbye the next afternoon but we had plans while up this way to see Ted's family as well. Off to Calgary. Oh I almost forgot..... Mom and Dad got a call from Braden when he got home from the reunion that his mission papers had come. He was excited to report that he is called to serve in Alabama and reports Nov. 19. ...

    ... Displays told us old and new theories. It had been thought that the beds of dinosaur bones happened when dead bodies were swept down by rivers. It is now believed that huge tropical storms drowned herds and their bodies were scavenged and rotted and the bones were later covered by mud. They also discussed the extinction of the dinosaurs – both the asteroid theory and another theory that they were already declining before that happened. It is currently being research by one ...

    Day 5 we left early to head straight to Lethbridge to spend as much of the afternoon as we could with Martin's brother. The rest of the day was pretty low key, we all just hung around the house enjoying the prospect of sleeping in the same bed, under the same roof for more than one night and having a nice home-cooked meal.

    ... Lethbridge and Jim and Linda were waiting for us in the driveway. So good to finally meet them and for Graeme to see them after 30 + years.
    We were treated like kings. Jim had been out to buy many varieties of local beers for us and he and Linda cooked a magnificent meal of Alberta beef-the thickest and most tender steak I've had in a long while.
