... things needed. I did sewing surgery on the poor motorbike cover, did some laundry and did some knitting, while visiting with my Mom. Day 5 we left early to head straight to Lethbridge to spend as much of the afternoon as we could with Martin's brother. The rest of the day was pretty low key, we all just hung around the house enjoying the prospect of sleeping in the same bed, under the same roof for more than one night and having a nice home-cooked meal.
... Lethbridge and Jim and Linda were waiting for us in the driveway. So good to finally meet them and for Graeme to see them after 30 + years.
We were treated like kings. Jim had been out to buy many varieties of local beers for us and he and Linda cooked a magnificent meal of Alberta beef-the thickest and most tender steak I've had in a long while.
Tonight we are sleeping in a lovely queen sized bed-beats sleeping ...
