Over 1000 feet long, this ship is massive. Lots of airplanes and helicopters from the 1940 to now. Dad was very happy to see the planes he has grown up with. Josh and I sat in the deck commanders seat- he had all the power to control the flight deck. They even had a dentist, barber, X-ray and surgery on board. We sat in planes and helicopters. Familiarising ourselves with the different sections of this city. We jumped on the train and bus to visit Mission beach and old town. The wind was up ...

The kids however loved every minute of their hour learning how to master the waves whilst bella surprised us all ...

It was a glorious day. Warm sunshine greeted us even early in the morning and we packed a picnic and some wine to enjoy after the match. Th feared traffic jams on the freeway were nowhere to be found and we made it to San Diego in ...
