... the photos will show. We had a lovely relaxing day walking around this historic site. The sky was cloudless and hot but not so humid as on the east coast. Early start & check out of the hotel .... Then off to Legoland, wow what a place, you name it there was pretty much a figurine made from Lego, as you can appreciate from the photos. Next we ventured into the Gaslamp District, which is where all the fun happens. Bars upon bars upon restaurants and more restaurants. Pretty much anything you want is down there. It is a very attractive street, bar all the roadworks going on, and I can only imagine the craziness that must go on there at night. Headed to Ocean beach so the kids could do some body boarding as the rip tide isn't as strong as mission or pacific beaches. It's a lot more bohemian and hippy with tie dye clothes, cool independent surf shops and cafés .
