The rains pushed us into Marshfield late in the day. We escaped for a brief time at Olanna's cafe in Springfield. We had a second breakfast that carried us down the road. As I write this entry, the greatest hits from the fifties are blasting, as Newt is attempting to break the land-speed record on a winding Missouri stretch of The Route.
