... post office. So we did. We got a much MUCH cheaper quote so sent about 10kg of stuff home (not ALL mine - dads new leather jacket was in there and that was quite heavy). After this we went back to our hotel and decided to go to the Grand Ole Opry. Dad said he didn't want to go, he needed to rest. Lucky for him because when we got there we found a big shopping centre full of factory outlets. But first, the Opry. I feel very, very lucky to have been on such "hallowed" ground. We ...

From Pooler we travelled west across Georgia to La Grange and spent the weekend with the children I nannied 30 years ago and their father and stepmother. Lovely weekend. Now we are in Nashville and have just been to the Grand Ole Opry. Tomorrow we will visit the country music hall of ...

Had sausage and biscuits with gravy as our hotel breakfast. Gotta love the South! On to the American Pickers store - Antique Archeology! No Mike or Frank sightings, but a lot of recognizable picks from their History Channel TV show. They were featuring "Pickers" at Pickers when we visited. Nice live bluegrass duo. Next - our visit to the Country Music Hall Of Fame. ...
