More sausage, biscuits and gravy - then off to do some sightseeing and antiquing around Nashville. We tried to visit a botanical gardens, but the promised 100,000 tulips were still about a week and a half from showing any color. Darn polar express, global warming winter - Oh well! Then we tried to take in the big flea market at state fairgrounds. The gates were all locked! It took us a while ...

... t. But I did manage to leave by 3:25 pm.

Louisville at rush hour is NOT a fun place to be. But we got to Nashville about 8:30, checked in to our room, unloaded, and then went to get something to eat.

Tomorrow morning we are aiming for an early start. We're going to meet Karen & Bill, and Bill's sister, Virginia, at The Varsity for lunch.

Running, screaming, jumping, all the things that ...

... one of them just into the road? Oh well...that story to follow...

After leaving The Hermitage we headed home just in time to get ready for a pick-up from the Gray Line folks for a trip to Opry Land. It's neatly tucked in behind the Mall and once we got there we had to walk over a little bridge to get to the building. Very tree laden and you can hardly see the front of the building. Once inside, we found our seats and were at first disappointed. We were way over ...

... friend went to school in Nashville and gave me a long list of great suggestions. Out of those we chose our line dancing spot and went to the Wild Horse Saloon and they have a mini line-dancing lesson, some live music and then more line dancing. We had a blast and then headed out for some dinner. We went to Jack's bar-b-que for dinner - Their portions are huge so we shared a plate - it hit the spot :)
