Interesting name seeing that my nickname is Sparky to a lot of people. Another interesting note is that the couple were actually heading to Wendy's to eat and decided to go to MacDonald's. Near Calgary - Old Friends Found!

Our whole reason for staying in this area is that it's about equidistant between some old friends of Greg's...Bill and Rita Cliffe (Bill's an old college friend/roommate of Greg's) live in Calgary; and Murray (Greg knew him as Danny) and Jean Romain live in Three Hills...Danny lived in the other half of a duplex where Greg's family lived when they were kids, and then they met up again in Grade 13 in Timmins, Ontario, and hadn't seen each other since then!

Today we found our way north to Glennifer Lake Resort, just west of Innisfail. This was a chance to touch base with people we met at the Mesa Rally in March. The food was good and the conversations lively. We're looking forward to the Rally in August and I hope that harvest doesn't interfere!
