Day 37 - Still enjoying rural Alberta

... fastest route there. At one point, we must've turned in error and ended up following a garbage/recycling truck into a private drive-- argh! Finally, though, we did arrive at our destination. We pondered whether to brave a trip into the big city to visit an aunt and uncle and decided to do just that. Lo and behold they have built a wonderful by-pass, Stony Trail, and we only saw downtown in the distance, just how we like it.

... share a lot of the same fears and insecurities, but they manifest differently in each of us, so looking at us you wouldn't think that we are very much alike. ... never want the fear of goodbyes to keep me from forming relationships with people because its all about the experience. Anyways, I believe that if someone is meant to be in my life, they will continue to be, no matter how far apart we are. As I told Daniela yesterday, there is nothing in the world that you HAVE to do, and there are very few things that you cant do, so just take each day as it comes and do what makes you happy. No goodbye has to be forever.

It's 530 in the morning and Blake Shelton is saying it's time to get up, so up we get a little groggy but well rested. We quickly pack up our gear and hop back on the highway headed to Canmore for some much needed coffee, eat a muffin from the snack stash we brought with us and buy some water for our hike ahead.
