My supervisor David said, well, probably the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me in my life and just getting that positive feedback from people really meant a lot to me..Saying goodbye to these people is going to be incredibly difficult... ... idea about the people in my group. I hope that I have given you a nice little inside look and that maybe now you can imagine what its like spending every single day with these people. (it's not as awful as it sounds, I swear.) So yesterday evening Fer and I finally moved into our real host families house.. It was very hard to say goodbye to our 'temp family' because we love them a lot and we really would have liked to stay with them, but it just wasn't possible. I especially miss Blake and Guido... ... was a big thunder and lightening storm. Torrential rainfall, the whole works. Thankfully, I had stopped for gas before the rains hit. So, I went into the convenience store and used their washroom and had a cup of coffee. Once the rains let up a bit, I took off. Thankfully I rode out of the storm and it was smooth sailing after that. One nice thing after the rain is that the fields and grasses smell so nice. I love that part of being on a bike. ...
