... after dark, we felt that we should make it back as there as town bylaws do not allow any neon signs or street lights in some areas so dark is dark. Next stop tomorrow will be Jupiter, Florida. It will be nice to get back to my stomping grounds and see our old condominium on Singer Island along with the home that I once owned in Jupiter. It'll be interesting to see what they look like now after 35 years or so.

Afterwards we walked for a while - the guys went back to the "World of Beer" and MD and I went shopping at Casa de Moda on Broughton Street and got her a cute outfit. Then it was back to the hotel, a little TV watching, then said our goodbyes since we are leaving early in the morning.

... s what made being in Savannah so exciting for me! LOL!

The first stop we made in Savannah was at the old Savanna Theater where we saw "Jukebox Journey." It was a lot of fun. They sang songs throughout the decades and danced. I think even the students enjoyed the show. I saw them taking lots of pictures and applauding, anyway! And we all had big smiles on our faces when we left!

We had time ...

... the other squares. There is always something to see and if your really lucky you'll be there when they have an event or their Saturday morning farmers market.
Mercer House - Having not seen the movie, but loving to tour old historic buildings, we went to Mercer House. It was worth it for one major reason-the tour guides. They are extremely informative about the history of the house itself, as well as many anecdotes and stories that you will not find ...
