... and shop fronts. It is so old and so charming. This is the actual location farmers and merchants first brought their wares. Oh the stories that could be told from their experiences. Must have been very tough.

... hotel. I don’t usually stay at HI but hey worth a shot and they had a room available that was reasonably priced. All the other sister hotels to marshall house were really more than I wanted to pay and this hotel is at least close to River Street and the things Jym wants to do.

We arrived here on Sunday for three days. We chose a PA park a few miles outside Savannah to get away from the throngs of visitors to Savannah. The park was a no-frills park - no pool, showers, bathrooms - but it did have level sites, solid electric, great water pressure, good wifi and cable. And it was quiet. We were very comfortable here.
