Today, Nov. 27 Chris the mechanic come over in the afternoon and cut a new slot in the existing shaft while still in the boat. That meant that we didn't have to have the boat lifted out of the water for over $300 and didn't need to remove the shaft and maybe buy a new one for heaven only knows how much.
