Well, we're off--sort of! We're suppose to close on the house at 10:00 tomorrow, Tuesday. We didn't feel like rushing around in the morning & we've been living in the 5th wheel in the driveway all week anyway, so this afternoon we made the 2 mile jaunt to Lake Lavon! Woke up to pounding rain. There is a hurricane going over us. We had planned to leave today. Rain and wind are so heavy we decided to stay another day. Thank you Mike and Kelly for your hospitality. Went out for breakfast and a drive around the area. Again Rob had stars in his eyes for this place. We leave tomorrow for Hot Springs, ...

Thank Goodness!!! We ...

6/16/15 Another long day of driving. Left New Mexico and arrived in Texas. A lot of rain, wind, and flooding. Arrived in Vernon Texas. Stayed at the Rocking A RV Park. The owner shows you to your space in his golf cart. (See pic). Many of you might not know that Vernon is the birth place of Buddy Holly. Nice relaxing ...

... done to the camper. I forgot to say that we lost one of the plastic ends to the place where we keep the sewer hose the first day of the trip, one of the latches broke that holds open one of the doors to one of the compartments, and when we got home the refrigerator's check light was on!!! Well, God made sure that we got home safely and in the end...that is ALL that really matters.

    Love to All!!
