Greenville is within our 75 mile circle of exploration and although most of our short trips have revealed a lot to see, Greenville doesn't seem to have a lot, at least according to the books I have. Woke up to pounding rain. There is a hurricane going over us. We had planned to leave today. Rain and wind are so heavy we decided to stay another day. Thank you Mike and Kelly for your hospitality. Went out for breakfast and a drive around the area. Again Rob had stars in his eyes for this place. We leave tomorrow for Hot Springs, ...

Woke up to a funny sound. Rain makes an even sound. This was a a strange drip, splat sound. Went to investigate. We had a leak in our roof! Water was all over. Water was running in through the roof along the satellite cables, through the DVD player and into Robs duffel bag and the bench to our dining table. We had time to brush our teeth and sop ...
