Well, we're off--sort of! We're suppose to close on the house at 10:00 tomorrow, Tuesday. We didn't feel like rushing around in the morning & we've been living in the 5th wheel in the driveway all week anyway, so this afternoon we made the 2 mile jaunt to Lake Lavon! The owner shows you to your space in his golf cart. (See pic). Many of you might not know that Vernon is the birth place of Buddy Holly. Nice relaxing ...

... good a time coz the bus driver told us to tone it down. *******! I think Louisiana is going to sue him! We had to swap buses in El Paso which is right on the Mexican border. We also went through passport control where a man came on the bus to check our passports and to also check for drugs. Unfortunately Louisiana got off the bus at this point but the rest of us were together. We got another bus driver but by this point it was night time and we were all pretty beat. ...
