Few things from this trip, 1) very interesting the Spanish shops closes in the mid day between 2-5 pm for Siesta 2) Spanish eats late, at 9 pm for dinner or later, very hard to digest food. 3) Overall cost for tourists is slightly cheaper than the US. 4) Excellent public transportation include train, bus etc. 5) One thing, I really hate is the fact people SMOKE EVERYWHERE. Cab cost approx $75. The hotel was very nice and our room was ...

A travel blog entry by stephquine on May 01, 2014

... downtown LA and the famous sign. Apparently the hippies used to hang out and party up there, back in the day. It used to say "Hollywoodland" and was originally a real estate advertisement.
After our 2 hour hike, Bri and I shared an cold juice with kale and cinnamon and mango, it was bomb. We stopped in at the hostel to grab cosies and drove the 40mins out to Venice Beach.
Venice is where it's at. Such a chilled, fun vibe compared to hectic Hollywood blvd. A two ...
