... on down the Natchez Trace trail. This trail was first used by the Native Americans, then the settlers and fur traders. It was instrumental during the Civil War for moving supplies from the Mississippi to Nashville. It felt like we were driving through and beautiful, green park. It is now a National Park.

... woke up, tested in the morning -> ate -> slept -> ate -> trained -> ate -> slept. Repeat. And I Loved it! The tests were so much fun, the trainings were so much fun (apart from the heat), and whilst the team slept during the day, I would go sit under the tree outside, or talk to a new team mate :) It was a pretty cool atmosphere. ... a lovely lunch by the beach, in a little independant called Camille's - recommended, if ever. The trafiic around the major beach towns slowed us down quite a bit and with the weather forecast we decided to definitely head north when we could, so we cracked onto Mobile, Alabama. We did this heading north out of Destin onto a new piece of highway passed an Airforce Base which meant we crossed over "Special Forces Road"(!) and blasted up to the I10 ...

... is twice as big as Candlestick Park, they have at least 30 "White House" replicas for each of the various fraternities on campus. Absolutely gorgeous. We are now in Montgomery, Alabama to spend the night and plan on visiting the Civil Rights Museum in the morning which is located in the motel where Martin Luther King was assassinated in 1968.
