Yesterday involved a trip to Clinton and lunch with Brother Steve. We said our goodbyes and headed out to do some grocery shopping. We passed a church with a tractor parked out front with one of those giant circular hay bales on the front fork and a flatbed trailer decorated with greenery. One of the newer National Parks is near Columbia and we decided to drive on over. Congaree National Park became a NP in 2003. There is a Visitor Center, primitive camping and a number of trails. We tried a walk on the elevated boardwalk but were turned back by rain. I had an umbrella, but the walk was getting slippery. Well, we didn't want to be so close and not visit.

Went over to see brother Steve on Sunday, in Clinton. Yesterday he came over to visit with us at the RV park. Later he called from home "is it raining there?". Nope. Well, about 15 minutes later the sky opened up. I guess he will send us weather alerts while we are here.
