      ... it did open. The only thing it had going for it was gas stations. There were a lot of those.
      We stopped for the night in Turtle River State Park. A gorgeous little place way off in the woods. It is just outside a city called Arvilla which is located just west of Grand Forks. Our last night in North Dakota looks to be peaceful and beautiful.

      Our last day: we're at the airport after getting up at 4:15 a.m. The day before us will consist of our flight home, defrosting our car at the Grand Forks International Airport (no plug ins at the airport and the weather network said it ranged between -35 to -51 degrees while we were gone ....wish us luck!), and driving home surrounded for the first time in 3 weeks by snow.

      A full day of travel home makes me think about a concept ...
