We arrived safely into LA, it was a mammoth trip, we sat towards the back of the plane and definitely had wobbly legs all day once we landed. We got to our hotel and they were not ready for us to check in so we dropped our bags off and freshened up in the restrooms and headed out for our double decker sight seeing tour. ... two of the guys we met in the hostel, we drove down to the beach which was about 40 minutes away! We had a semi local tour guide in Darshan who had been here before a number of times, and was from Seattle, so he directed us around most of the day. But we first walked up and down Santa Monica beach, which was very nice especially as the weather was boiling all day. But we stopped off for food at some food trucks, where Lois had tacos, and I had ...

... be so much better. You learn about life in other cultures, you become more open to new things and ideas. Meeting new people along the way can change you a lot, because you learn about eh way others live . People who have not traveled tend to be more rigid in there mind, because they have only experienced one ...
