Carol got a piece of strawberry cheesecake to go for dessert. I later went over to a Biggby Coffee for my dessert . . . and in the process spotted a Tim Horton's!! Guess Carol will get breakfast in the morning . . . even if she sleeps in past the Hampton Inn complementary breakfast!!
We both relaxed and read into late evening . . . and turned in. Good night!!

Before we left we each picked out a treat of our first choice: taffy (Pat), caramel corn (Ted), truffles (Peggy) and caramel turtles (Terry). ... and spent the early afternoon with a buddy of mine in Stratford, Ontario. From there we made our way through pretty countryside scenery to Sarnia, where we crossed the border into Michigan. Finally, a steady stream of rundown concrete highways first Westbound and then north, brought us to Grayling.

... warm. As far as snow goes, other than on Christmas, you can have it! I hate shoveling off my car for an hour after work everyday, driving 25 mph EVERYWHERE, slippery/snotty roads, whiteouts, salt on my Jeep, all of it I hate it. I would love Michigan IF I could spend the winters somewhere else-somewhere warm. So....I just have to figure out HOW to go about doing ...
Our last campground stop before heading back to Milford to close on the house was just outside Grayling at Lake Margarethe State Forest Campground. One more beautiful campground on a lake that abutted Camp Grayling. It was very quiet and offered sites on the water that were appropriate for tent or trailers. Also several caches to get that are within walking distance to the campground.
