    ... the motorcycle, I got a new front wheel, new tires, new brake pads, chain and sprocket and a major servicing. It cost an ungodly amount but it had to be done and my baby is running beautifully now. Much needed as I'm tackling a couple of insane roads between Highway 76 and Palomar mountain tomorrow, supposedly one of if not the most technically difficult rides in California. Hoo ...

    Woke on Sunday with serious hangovers! Checked out of the room, packed up the car and headed for food. Probably wasn't safe to drive quite yet!! Once we felt a bit more alive, it was back on the road. Having initially underestimated the time it would take to get to San Diego, and the traffic, we finally arrived at 1900 hours over 7 hours journey, with stops!
