    ... the motorcycle, I got a new front wheel, new tires, new brake pads, chain and sprocket and a major servicing. It cost an ungodly amount but it had to be done and my baby is running beautifully now. Much needed as I'm tackling a couple of insane roads between Highway 76 and Palomar mountain tomorrow, supposedly one of if not the most technically difficult rides in California. Hoo ...

    ... the dumb people had sat in the slash zone. Overall the park was good to see but we probably wouldn't go again. We were there till after 4pm and the park closes at 5. Went home for a freshen up before going out for Taco Tuesday. It was so packed down the Main Street so we had to walk down to a quieter area so we could go into a restaurant without waiting an hour like most of the other restaurants. The meal was really good!     ... broke out over it. In the end the Police and security had to drag one of the girls away out of sight.

    When we got to our Unit the game was still going so we watched it. The scores were tied and in the last 5 seconds the Texans scored a 3 point field goal which gave them a win. From what I have heard the Chargers are much like the Warriors and a very hard team to support.

    After the game we packed our suitcases for an early morning start and off to bed.

    ... have lived in the Mission Bay area since Pharmacy Grad School at UCSD. It was a short two mile drive and we found easy parking on the street in front of their house….unusual for Mission Beach. The evening was spent catching up, eating takeout Thai and drinking a bottle of vintage wine from Bob’s cellar.
