      ... anyone without some nervousness. Mostly though, I'm excited. I know it's going to be an amazing 4 1/2 months that I'm sure will teach me a lot about myself and will give me experiences of a lifetime.

      I'll try to keep this up fairly regularly with posts about what I'm experiencing, what I'm seeing and what I'm feeling. I'm so grateful to have this opportunity and can't wait to see what's in store with me over the next 4 months! ...

      The day started with a minor flight delay but a short two hour flight into Atlanta for Jared. Natalie was waiting with open arms for a long overdue hug! Our first stop was to the Park Tavern at Piedmont Park. Where we sat under the covered patio by the fire while watching ice skaters try to show off their best moves.       ... had read really bad reviews of prostitution, drug deals and even gunshots in some of the motels we were looking at. We saw no trouble thankfully but it's definitely around. We saw a number of signs saying weapons were not permitted, we got wanded as well as the normal bag search at the aquarium and Alan was repeatedly asked if he had a pocketknife on him.
