... that are harnessed to a wagon or sleigh for 20 people. Their country dance club is big and very popular. It was too bad we got rained out the night before. Matt had French toast with bananas and blue berries - yum.

We hit the road and things went flat and long as we easted from the mountains into the Colorado plains and then into Kansas. The rest of the day would have been uneventful and not worth ...

... of the drought. We got into Marysville and he told me a bunch of history about the town, including secret tunnels and an underground bowling alley. This town also had those awesome brick streets that I liked in Washington. Nick didn't share my enthusiasm and made a comment about it being too bumpy to drive over. I asked her why there was such a rise in population. She said it's because "the gays" are smart especially gay men. There's a lot of tourism out there and the gays are good businessmen. I found this laughable, ...

It sure is hilly and windy out here! I rode through more farmland today. It's mostly corn, and some smaller leafy stuff I don't recognize. Cows and corn... What can I say. It's actually quite pretty in its own way. It's very green and full of birds and bugs. It's a big contrast to Utah and Arizona. A few birds have followed me during this trip. In Kansas, I think they are prairie falcons. They circle around screaming and intermittently get attacked by smaller birds in ...
