Regardless of this problem, I am excited to see the adventures that lay before me. I don't really have a plan (I find that when you go without a plan you end up having a lot more fun). Soo we have a few Things to talk about this morning! Of all of our focal species the painted bunting is by far the rarest. At our second site we drove right up on one singing in the field boarder. He perched up about 30 yards away and allowed me to take a quick video. If you didn't know they are beautiful birds with a blue head, red body, and green back. I will have to get the video ...
