Mitch and I left for Crooked Creek Parking parking lot, Yellowwood State Forest, after work to drop my car off at the end of the trail, well 2 miles shy of the end. We got to Morgan-Monroe State Forest around 8:00 PM and setup camp at the campground. We were the only campers that night and was fortunately the only night we had rain.

... to the car around 4:30 PM. We rested, dehydrated, ate, and then took off for the last four miles. Its amazing how much easier it is to hike without all that extra weight on your back. I think we finished out the final 4 miles in a hour. We had Mexican afterwards.

We got up at 7:30 AM today but got a late start at around 9:30 AM. It had rained the night before and the weather was still a bit cold at 40 degrees. Mitch and I split the 3 man tent the first day as Ryan met us 4 miles in on the 2nd day. My pack weighed in around 35 lbs and we had 14 miles to hike that day.
