    ... a little sun time. It was quite a sight! We then jumped back on the highway to one of the most scenic stretches of Highway 1, the run from San Simeon to Carmel.     ... stopped once for a potty break. Girls were getting hungry, but I wanted to keep my fastfood tally to essentially zero for this trip - and there were NO McD's stops! Our only fast food stop on this trip was to Chick-fil-A in SLC!!

    ... Cruz Pier for our 6.30pm kayak tour. After having just enough time to check in at our hotel and get changed we drove to the pier and were only 5 mins late..........saw some huge sea lions up close and sea otters using little stones to crack open crabs as they swam near us on their backs
