Up at 6:30 so that we could all be ready for an 8:00 pickup by our shuttle bus to JFK Airport. The van was early so just as well we were too! Two movies in the bag and plenty more on the entertainment system. Next stop LAX where we have to collect our bags just to put them back on again for the next peg of the trip. That I don't understand - not like you have access to the bags on the plane - why couldn't they too just be in transit? What's that saying? ...

... our room in the warm of the hotel lobby (I was also carrying one of our heavy carry on luggage so wasn't really feeling up to a big walk with that on my shoulder). On the way we passes 99c slice of pizza... Who could resist that, not us. And it was amazing! When we got back to our hotel (Hilton garden inn, Central Park south on W 54th st) the lobby was packed with a tour group, we could barely move so it ...
