    Big riding day with Bill leading. (We take it in turns) so today I was mostly seeing and eating dirt.

    Two quite challenging sections. A wide river crossing (no I didn't) and a very technical downhill decent through a very tight path with big rocks. I think the bike and I were close to our limits on the rocky decent, but Bill and I both got through.

    ... s deserted. Sunday as it used to be in god-fearing times. We learn from CNN today is Pulpit Freedom Sunday, where conservative churches preach politics from the pulpit opposing "unbiblical candidates" i.e. Obhama. It's a minority movement but startling nontheless.

    The hotel is comfortable and peaceful. We get some beers and watch Man Utd v Newcastle on the TV and for just a moment, we feel normal again.
