    I've certainly stayed in much nicer hotels but needing two rooms for just a night while in the road meant this was just fine. No frills but the price matches.

    ... depth, the water level was up to the seat!!

    There was also another section just after which Bob took some photos of us which we will post soon as we have them.

    we left Bob and headed downwards and took a motel in Brinkley.

    glad to get there after ridng in soaking wet feet all day. loked like we had trench foot and very uncomfortabkle indeed.

    ... all day seemed to show up. Each time we summited a hill, we would see darker and darker clouds and felt stronger winds. However, we made it to the church before any serious danger could overtake us. Many in the rest of the group took shelter at nearby homes and businesses and waited out the storm until everyone arrived safely.     We finished up our last session on Sat, loaded up the trailer....we got back to the hotel about 3 in the morning......long days and long hours, glad it's over. So we are heading back to Texas to drop off the trailer, and do a event review on wed. and then we need to head up to Wichita Falls to get our tags for the car, so we should be.....heading to our next adventure......so I guess everyone might be wondering were we are going.....so here is the answer.....................CYA down the ...
