A night in LA
We spent a night at SunSet Boulevard (bit rough) and a few hours around Hollywood Boulevard. Walked along the "Stars of Fame" then headed up to the Hollywood Bowl to watch the 4th July fireworks. Realised we're spoilt for fireworks in Sydney ..... it was like watching a school firework show.
Day 4 - Outlet Shopping & Lakers (Bailes)
... us and stopped in at the organic shop to pick up some dinner and return home for a quite night in.. Whilst waiting for the bus we saw a 'BARcycle' ride by us.. Kirsty manages to take a photo but as the girls have already headed to bed I will need to upload that photo later.. Looked like loads of fun!! Had about a 30-40 minute bus ride to the Staples Centre, not to bad! We then headed to the nose bleed ...
Fitties, fatties and cheese.
... that from a childhood of watching violent american films. The roads are utterly packed with traffic doing speeds that don't take prisoners. Anything that could conceivably be served with cheese is served with cheese. Food is cheap. People are friendly, and there is a delicate balance here between really fit toned tanned people, and what I might term as genetically programmed salad dodgers.
