Fandt et motel midt i Hollywood, 15 min. gang fra Hollywood Walk of Fame - sikke en skilteskov!
We spent a night at SunSet Boulevard (bit rough) and a few hours around Hollywood Boulevard. Walked along the "Stars of Fame" then headed up to the Hollywood Bowl to watch the 4th July fireworks. Realised we're spoilt for fireworks in Sydney ..... it was like watching a school firework show.
... city ever to get breakfast on a Sunday as everywhere was shut but finally we found the LA café and it did the tastiest & biggest bagels which were scrummy. Lunch was a BBQ beef brisket from the central markets which again was amazing. The central markets just make you hungry walking through it.
The afternoon was spent in Santa Monica & Venice Beach by the water it had cleared up into a nice day ...
... hat. I was Gryffindor and Darren Hufflepuff. As I said, silly but had to be done.
The tour finished about 2.30 so we headed to the RV after buying some T Shirt Souvenirs – Big Bang theory Hoodie for me and shirt for Darren.
We had about 2hrs to have a rest before walking around to Gate 3 for the Big Bang Theory filming. It was about a 10 minute walk from where we were parked.

... retiring for the evening we visited Carlo's Sandblow which is an absolutely huge sand dune with great views over Rainbow Beach as well as sunset views inland toward a far flung mountain range. The following morning we were picked up from our caravan park we stayed that night. Our transport for the day was to be a 4x4 bus that was a monster truck hung over from too many nitros the night before. Our guide and driver for the day, Cameron, was an outgoing and very enthusiastic individual ...
