    ... some of church and afterward met some people who were excited to be moving to Snowflake, Arizona. This was their last week in Lake Villa, IL and they seemed like they couldn’t be happier. They were excited about moving away from the winters - 50" of snow last year made their decision easier.

    ... We ended up in a quaint little town called New Buffalo, Michigan. It had a beautiful beach, a nice little pier and a park for kids to play at. Annalena was also ready for a stop because she had just slept 6 of the 7 hours we were in the car already. :)

    Bittersweet, but lovely day

    ... us again when we came through Indiana at the end of the summer.

    So today was bittersweet.

    My mom and my Uncle Ryan (who flew in from Aiguá, Uruguay to be with the family) drove out from Ft. Wayne, Indiana to see the show. Seeing as how there was no way Ryan would have ever seen our show and John perform in person, it was an unexpected sweet moment in the midst of a heavy month for us.

    Today was a fairly uneventful day except for one thing:

    One of my blog readers, Charles, came to the show and brought me a pan of brownies as a condolence on the loss of my grandma.
