... an hour later than planned. It was hard saying goodbye not only to the teens, but to everyone at Restart. We really had a great time there and met some amazing people. We got to Chris's house a little early for dinner, so we hung out at a nearby elementary school playground to relax and enjoy the weather. Then we went to Chris's lovely house for a pizza dinner and good conversation. It was nice to review the week and also hear more about Chris and his life. We ...

... games with some residents. I played Uno with Brad, Lexie, and Katie. Brad was such a fun-loving guy, and he would've won multiple times had he remembered to say Uno. Menu Item: Jack’s Best

Notes: Features one Crown Prime Beef Rib, Pork Baby Back Ribs, and Beef Burnt Ends with sides of Cheesy Corn Bake, Creamy Coleslaw, & Toast. Had a spicy sauce and a sweet sauce.

Comments: There’s no knife (or teeth for that matter) needed here! You could easily cut everything with a plastic fork if you had to. The prime beef rib was extremely tender. The entire strip fell off the bone when touched. As soon as ...

Menu Item: Ribs & Brisket Plate with Spicy Slaw

Notes: Today was one of the first days after they changed their name from Oklahoma Joe's to Joe's Kansas City

Comments: Best ribs I've ever eaten. They had a unique taste unlike anything I've ever tasted before. The dry rub on them was perfect. The meat just fell off the bone and was extremely tender. The tender, medium cut brisket had an initial smoky bite to it ...

    Return from Cancun

... all our remaining MXN cash (US$13) after he shuttled us to the airport next door.

The flight was uneventful barring a nuisance sitting behind me. A single 45 year old guy behind me on the flight from Cancun had "a big problem" with me asking him to mute his CandyCrush iPad game mid-flight. Apparently he didn't have a problem kicking the **** out of my unreclined seat the prior 30 minutes nor regaling all the blondes on his row with his travel prowess (when someone can ...
