On the 5th of October, we moved to Pointes West (Fort Gordon) Recreation Area outside Appling, GA.

While there, we spent the afternoons and evenings visiting with our dear friends from our NATO assignment in The Netherlands, Dave and Linda Goetz. In addition to getting caught up, we also got to see and visit with two of their ...

On Saturday we volunteered to help cleanup the trails of the park. There were a lot of volunteers and even some Army men and women who are stationed nearby. We enjoyed our ...

Cathy and Arlen are our friends and neighbors from North Andover, MA and we go back about 36 years (wait, I'm not that old)...yeah right!! Also caught up with another friend from Hilton Head (the first couple we met when we moved there) Avery, and had a lovely lunch with her and Cathy. Thanks, Avery.

I had no idea ...

The day and a half in Georgia with our friends Mark Haddox and Bob & Patti Mannix went way too quickly. We've been friends since the early 80’s and even though the miles have separated us for many years, the friendships have lasted and stayed strong. Sierra and Cheyenne Mannix have grown into the most beautiful girls and watching everyone together, it’s evident they fill a big void in Marks’ life since my dear friend Haven’s passing. ...
