September 26th – day 145
The check out from this RV park was 2pm
so we didn't rush away although we did leave straight after lunch.
From there we drove towards New Orleans Louisiana before heading
North. New Orleans was more than I expected. We were told not to go
to The French Quarter after dark and so we decided to just drive it
by day instead. Heading up Bourbon Street was crazy. It's a party

... there by lunchtime so all afternoon fossicking. Well where time went, who the hell knows but by the time we arrived there it was 3.30 and just the day they decide to close at 5.00 instead of 10 pm! So like chooks in the paddock, we scratch around for an hour in the dirt and then head back to Hope for accommodation - an hour away! The truck is done, all appears well and we will be on our way to Abilene ...

So I wrote a review on yelp which was not too favorable. Yelp is becoming my best ...
... Also had to finish up the laundry today. Next week we will not have sewage, so will not be able to wash clothes.
I think this weekend is going to be busier than last weekend since we have seen several RVs go by our site. Tomorrow we drive about 180 miles south to Sam Rayburn Reservoir outside of Zavalla, TX where we will be "living" for the next week. Don't think I will be writing tomorrow night since chances are nothing interesting will be happening ...
