At SC, it took us awhile to learn how to set up our pop up tents. Our campground was between the Missouri River and I29 near downtown. This was NOT going to be a quiet evening of sleep before Day 1!

... little shop struggled to survive as people coming from the East just bypassed it on the way to the Black Hills in the 1930's. Wasn't until the wife decided to try and attract business by putting signs along the highway offering free iced water that people stopped and the business flourished to its 76,000 sq ft building today taking up an entire block . Highway signs still offer free iced water and 5cent coffees. ...
