On The Road Day 21
Not too many miles on the car today, only 28. But I put quite a few on my feet.
I got off to a fairly early start this morning and drove down to Santa Fe, N.M. I had to make a side trip to have my car serviced. I have put a lot of miles on it. Then I drove to the motel I had reservations for tonight. It was too early to check in but they …
Blew by Cadillac ranch
I am staying at the Econolodge in Santa Fe, New Mexico tonight with another Motor Maid, Joyce Turner from California. Another great day of riding but it was so windy From Amarillo, Texas that we blew right by the Cadillac Ranch. We stopped for gas 1 mile down the road, but did not go back for pictures as it was just too windy. We stopped for lunch …
Santa Fe one night stop on the way to Wyoming
This was a stop of ours for one night on the way to Wyoming. We took a drive around the area.
Ate at a Diner's, Driving and Dives location. Backyard Pizza. Nothing special.
The place we stayed.
I liked the amenities of this location for the price. They offered a nice continental breakfast like pour prepared batter from machine into mold …

Sante Fe jewellers seem to specialise in designs based on Native American jewellery but worked in gold. The result is stunning. We probably spent more time in jewellers in Santa Fe than I have spent in jewellers in total to date. Not only were there lots ...

I liked the amenities of this location for the price. They offered a nice continental breakfast like pour prepared batter from machine into mold and waffles 2 minutes later. They have a pool and hot tub. My problems were the ice machine was a long trip from the room and the backdoor of hotel slammed loudly til midnight. We were closest to it. Room was clean.
