We hit the road right on time with Big Bird flying down the road (always within the speed limit of course). I'm so happy to be traveling with my humans. ... a real house that we drove by. It is very pretty with a beautiful coast line. Phenomenally expensive though. Coffee in Aussie sized cups was $5, a sandwich at a take away cafe started at $9 and in the supermarket bread was three times the normal price. Crazy.
We hit the road again and spent the next 5 hours driving to New Orleans.....and that's where the 4 states in a day comes in....We left Florida and drove through Alabama and then Mississippi before arriving in New Orleans, Louisiana! ...

... for the most quite night's sleep we have had ever. Pearl Bayou Is a keeper with great wind protection--- but we had no wind. Everything was perfect Except the battery for the generator.. We have to get that figured out soon. Having to Crank with jumper cables! Ralphie can handle it -- I bet! On to the next stop, only 35 miles. Oysters tonite! Chuck! Where do we eat the best oysters. An diesem wunderschoenen Strand, an dem sich sonst die Springbreaker austoben, verbrachten wir einige erholsame Stunden in unanstaendig weissem, feinkoernigem Sand. Zumindest ich hatte dies dringend noetig, denn ich hatte am Abend zuvor den Schock schlechthin.
