... on the day of departure I actually cancelled my plans to go because of a cold front that was making its way through the Orlando area this weekend and that was bringing allot of mositure with it, and because I did not think it would have ended up being a good thing to be sleeping in a tent with two young kids in the pouring rain and with temperatures dipping down into the 40's.

We all have grown up fantasies and Fairy tales and always wondered how it would be to be in a fairy land or the Magic World. My dreams seemed to have come true , only a bit late in life! Well i am walking into the third decade in my life but still excited about going to the Disney World Orlando.

Our trip starts with a jinx , first with the shuttle breaking down on the way to the airport and second with our flight ...

Today we went for a drive and visited a walmart store - we found some good bargains on t-shirts etc. One interesting thing is that Ipods and other electronics now cost about the same as in the UK. bought a card reader for $13 only to find where I'd hidden mine when we got back to the hotel. so I now have two....

... the park was open until midnight. We rode Splash mountain (got drenched), the Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder Mountain, Buzz Lightyear, and the People Mover. We watched the new Hall of Presidents and got Dole Whips.

Since this was the last night of our trip, we ended up sitting up and talking until 4:45 am. We set a wake up call for 8:00 and went to bed.

... years old and some more. After that we was walking around and The girls and husbond went back to the hotel because it was so hot and they wanted to go for a swim. JM and Me was still in the park and went shopping for Husbond and bought grumpy t-shirt and caps. And did some other rides , and then went back to the hotel so JM also could swim. So it was of to the Magic Kingdom park around 4.30 pm for Mickeys very merryChristmas party, and hey here is the problems ...

... We were allowed water bottles, but that was it. Of course for us, this just makes the whole day so much more expensive. So not realising this before we got in, I made some chicken and lettuce rolls and loaded up my small backpack. I loaded Gary up with the water and we headed in. ... tubs ... So ... at noon-ish, we pack the car for the afternoon at Typhoon Lagoon and head over there ... I'm looking at the sky as we drive ... hmmm, looks like the *weather* is headed in early today ... sure enough, we are no sooner at the park entrance than the heavens open!! So ... standing there for 10 minutes discussing what we are going to do and it rains and rains and rains ... there is no place inside to shelter, so next choice would be Downtown Disney ...
