... small state so shortly we re-entered Pennsylvania.
As we travel through this eastern edge of Pennsylvania, we noticed that spring had not arrived yet to this part of America. We could see buds on the trees but they had not yet opened and the landscape was that of winter even though the temperature was 72-degrees.
Our travels through Pennsylvania took us along the western edge of the Pocono Mountains. Pocono is a Munsee Indian word which means "creek ...

Louis Fauchere, Swiss born, is the Founder of the Inn and was a Master Chef at Delmonicos in New York. Delmonicos was famous for the Lobster Newburgh recipe and of course Delmonico steaks. In Canada this cut of beef is a New York strip loin. He wanted people to follow him, he was 87 miles outside of the city. It worked! He turned the Inn into a stylish summer destination ...

... stood. The fumes in the air were enough to intoxicate! We survived the long journey with an entertaining passing parade of drunks, mostly happy, sometimes paralytic. A very tall Spanish man held up his short mate like a ventriloquist with his arm up the back of a dummy. Around Hounslow, a succession of high heeled young ladies wearing little but frilly dresses descended from the top deck and alighted into the crisp 2 degree dawn. There must have been a dozen of them. We arrived ...
